Chapter 9 A View of a death

In Simon's secret place the flies prefer meat like food because they were all over the pigs head. Simon decides to go to the top of the mountain to look at the beast. When Simon decides to go up the mountain he finds a figure and he plays around with it a little bit and he figures out that the beast was just there imagination. Jack declares that the conch does not work over on his side of the island and that the conch only works where the meetings are. The whether makes a huge change it starts to poor rain and a thunder storm starts. The boys start to sing "Kill the beast. Cut its throat. Spill her blood." Simon goes staggering out of the forest and the boys kill him.

In my opinion I think it was Jacks fault. It was his fault because he was the one who started the chant and since he started the chant. (Kill the pig, cut its throat, spill her blood) He put all of the group in a mood that would want them to kill. This is a lot like some of the things that we have in our country because we have criminals and they can like listin to a song and it will get them into a mood that they can kill anyone.
