Independant reading Post #3

What has surprised me in this book would be when the little boy went and ask his dad where is Susie. The dad asked if he wanted to play monopoly trying to change the subject. It was the first time that the dad asked the little boy to play monopoly. What I thought the dad would say was she is in a better place now. Or that he would never see her again. This happened again but this time the dad changed the subject by saying do you want to go to the zoo. He was again successful on changing the subject to not answer the question.

I think that I would would read another one of the authors books because the books I like are ones that if you read you want to read more and more and this author does this. And I really like to read the mystery books because it is another reason to read because you really want to find out who did the crime or whatever the mystery is about.
