Post 1 For Independent Reading

When I started to read this book I have really started to wonder about things. Especially in the first chapter. I have thought that this world is really crewel and there are some messed up people. Like it said in the book there is a man that never was married because he could never accept the fact that he would get rejected and me would eat frozen food for dinner every night. In this book they would call those kinds of people "Characters." I have also starting to realize what would happen if I had lost my mother or my father. I don't think I would be able to live on. My parents take care of me and if one of them die I would not know what to do. I have also starting to wonder about heaven. The author does a really good job of imagining heaven and what it would be like and he really described it so I could picture it in my head.

The author really creates suspense in this book because he doesn't just say the whole thing. He says something and then he would have the narrator (Susie) kind of explain what that person said and she really would explain these parts very well. I would really describe all parts of this book very well. I think that if I would to write a book I would kind of use his ideas into my book. I would describe a lot and I would have a narrator and in the narrators prospective.
