If I were writing to the author right now I would say...
Dear Author, I am reading your book The lovely Bones. I am loving it so far. I really love how you really described the first chapter. Even though it was very gross yet I still like that chapter. I think that chapter was my favorite so far because it was the most interesting and it had the most action. I wish that all chapters could be like that. But some chapters are more exiting than others. I really like how you describe heaven and what its like. You have no idea what heaven is but you gave a really good guess on what it is and what it is like. I really like all the characters except for the evil neighbor. You did a really good job on really describing that guy as a person and his personality. You said that he is like a guy who never had the courage to ask a girl for dinner because he did not have the courage to take a decline. And that you said that he would eat frozen meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. I really like how you described him because you made it really clear of how this guy acts and reacts.

Some of the things I don't really like thus far would be that not all of the chapters you said were all that interesting so far. I also didn't like that you didn't really introduce us to all the characters the only characters you introduced us to were Susie and the weird neighbor. Ya so i did not really understand who are some of the characters in the story.
