TKaM Jem 4-7

Dear Diary, We were walking past the Radley's tree and there was gum inside the tree. It was a little suspicious but I didn't suspect anything. But a couple days later we found a watch and some other stuff. Me and Dill started to have a really good friendship. We made this game up called the Boo Radley game. It was were we acting as the Radley and have little games to reenact stuff. I heard that Ms Atkinson was talking to Scout about Boo. She said that his father may have been a big part on making him the way he is. And she said that if he wasn't crazy when he was a kid then he was definitely crazy now.


Dear Diary, It is almost time for Dill to go back home. Me and him were thinking and we were going to pull something off. Something never done before. We were going to go around the back yard of the Radley house and look into the window. So we started to go over to the house. We got to the backyard and looked through the window. There wasn't anybody in there. I saw a shadow to the left but I didn't think it was anything but then it got closer. Then it backed away so then I was scared. The all of a sudden a shotgun blast fired! Me and Dill ran so fast back to our house. We had to hop a fence. But then my pants got stuck. So I took them off and ran with my underwear on.
