Dear Diary, I had one of the weirdest and oddest day. I went to take a look outside and I saw white stuff falling from the sky. I didn't know what it was. So I stuck my tongue out. A drop fell onto my tongue. It was so hot it was burning my tongue. I told Jem that it was really hot but he said it was snow and that it was so cold that it burned your tongue. I felt really embarrassed. There was so much snow falling down from the sky they even canceled school. Me and Jem were making a snowman. We took Ms Atkins hat and we put it on the snowman. The snowman looked really ugly. That's why we named it Mr Avery. He is our nasty neighbor down the street. That same night Atticus woke me up and helped me put on my robe. We ran outside and we saw Ms Maudie's house was caught on fire. In all the middle of this montage Boo threw a blanket over me! Oh my gosh I thought to myself its Boo Radley. I was about to Vomet.


My dad is now defending a black man accused of raping a white woman. The other day at school this kid named Cecil Jacobs said that my dad defends niggers. Oh man that made me furious. I wanted to fight this guy so badly. I never felt that way ever in my whole life. It was now Christmas time and Uncle Jack came over to our house. He told me never to curse when he is around. Then we went to my Aunts house. Francis said that Dill is such a runt that he calls your dad a nigger lover. I knew Dill and I know that he wouldn't say that about my daddy. I started to curse at him and hit him again and again. Then Francis told on me and without hearing my side of the story Uncle Jack Spanked me and boy did that not feel good. The other night I over heard my dad talking to Uncle Jack about the Tom Robinson case. He said that Tom Robinson is innocent but doomed.
